i have 256 mb ram, my anti virus is kaspersky which ive had for nearly a year and never had no problems with it at all, so dont think at all its that slowing my pc down, it says ive still got plenty of memory left, so what can i do now as like i said ive done defrag cleaned registry, got rid of viruses adware spyware, done disk clean up, what more can i do.

Hey me again, check how much free hard drive space you have left, as you may be low on "virtual memory". However, you will usually get some type of message when this occurs.

Advanced Windows Care get the personal edition it's free run it once a day or once a week or just when you think your system is getting slow
Add more memory - 256 Mb is too little - go for 512Mb at least.
click start.click search.then highlight all files and folders.let the search run it may take some time.check larger files ,you will probaly have files on your computer you thought you had removed.if so just delete as normal .hope this helps.
get more ram or get rid of programs that u dont use.
256 MB RAM is really low these days..think of upgrading your RAM
