AHH pop up mania and virus warnings please help!?

i have used avg free scan ad-adware scan and spybot scans they got of lots of stuff but i still get loads of popups and stuff. i keep getting told i have a trojan/worm still after all this, what do i do!?

Get Google toolbar and stop the popups. Enable the toolbar you have, if you're using Internet Explorer. click on Tools, then Popup Blocker.

When you want to really make sure your computer is free from spyware and viruses, you have to do the scanning with Windows booted into Safe Mode (No Networking).

Otherwise, programs could be going back out to the Internet and just re-infecting your computer. Also, some stuff cannot be deleted unless you do the scans in Safe Mode. Tapping F8 key when Windows is about to boot will get you a menu.....

You also may just be getting pop-ups that tell you you have problems. NEVER click on Close or OK or other buttons in these pop-up windows unless you are sure they are coming from Anti-virus or anti spyware programs you have installed, some will try to trick you, then download stuff to your computer without you knowing.

Always close these types of Windows by clicking on the 'X' in the upper right corner of the window or right clicking on it in the taskbar and choosing Close.
Here's what I suggest:

Click on the link below and scroll down the page to free online virus %26 spyware scans.

Select Panda (ActiveScan) from the list.

When you get to their site, click on the Scan My Computer button.

Eventually you'll be taken to a page where you choose the areas to scan: select My Computer.

Panda will clean %26 disinfect anything it finds...and that's usually everything.
