Does anyone know about computers? PLEASE HELP?

I have 2 red dots on the right bottom hand of my pc screen with a white X through them. Every 5 sec it pops up with ''Your computer is in danger! Windows Security Center has detected spyware/adware infection! It is srongly recommended to use special antispyware tools to prevent data loss. Click to to install the latest protection tools! '' However there is no place to click and I have tried using the antispyware provided by yahoo. Please Help

smartarse1952 is right. DO NOT click on it. The program that says you have spyware is right. It IS the spyware!

do not click on it, it is spyware, you will have to download a spyware remover from the net, they all have a certain amount of free usage time, download a couple and run them, hope it finds the troublemaker
If you have no antivirus or firewall i suggest zonelabs zonealarm. I had a similar problem when i first got net. nothing since. great software!!
