I run Adware, SpyBot, and Norton but to no avail. After all three are finished scanning my files and registry, each one reports nothing found. The two are obviously porn sites; one address contains a word describing a part of the male anatomy and the other address contains a synonym for a ''group'' party of debauchery.

Ditch Internet Explorer and get a Macintosh. Safari is a much safer browser, anyway. I have had a Mac for about a year and have not yet had a problem with adware and spyware.
OR you could get an alternate browser for Windows. Try Firefox!

i get pop ups too...but for screen savers...lol...and yeah i have the pop up blocker and all that crap

Download WinPatrol
go to wwwmicrosoft.com
Download Windows Defender
go to www.hometownohio.com
click on software/downloads, scroll down to middle of page, download pop-up stopper
install the pop-up stopper, then install Windows Defender, and finally install Winpatrol. This should fix it.
Freeware antispyware software (esp. SpyBot) are not the best to detect and clean spyware. Some antivirus software can detect it, but you may need to configure it for full detection, and it might be unable to clean it.
