System alert pop up, how do i fix, am new to this.?

Getting pop up saying system alert has detected a number of active spyware applications etc.... Also Trojan-Spy.Win32@mx, also unwanted pop ups for privacy protectors, drantispy, virus pro 2007 + lots more . Computer really slow and crashes lots. Please fix, must be free as no money and also free prog. to fix damage caused. Currently have Norton and Adware. Cheers
