I am a big fan of Firefox, I suggest you install it too.
It isn't as if you must lose Explorer, but you will gain Firefox so when Explorer crashes you can then open Firefox and browse in peace.
You can get it here for free, http://www.sleekbytes.com/picasa-google.... that version has the google toolbar, I suggest you get it, it's very useful to tell sites page rank so you know what to trust, anyway good luck hope it helped
Inernet Explorer Problems? PLZ HELP?norton internet security 2008
there is no reason absolutely none to get firefox it isnt better at all. its just something else that does the same thing as IE. however internet explorer 7 is junk. now if someone bought a computer with ie7 allready on it then it might work ok. i dont know about that. i got ie 6 or 6.1 whatever it is. had no problems at all. ppl sometimes update cause they think itll make things better usually this is false. if something aint broke then dont fix it.
i may be wrong on this not sure but i think beta is like a way of saying its brand new and semi road tested. i wont update to any of the new yahoo messengers for the same reason. they aint as good as 6.1
You need to make sure you don't have any spyware. Then get spybot and go into the advanced settings. Delete any rogue Browser Helper Object entries, and unknown activex controls. Disable add-ons which you don't need in IE. Obviously delete temp files and temporary internet files (there is a difference). Trust me on this. It's the BHOS and activex and the IE add-ons.
Using FireFox is good option, but if you wane rid out of this prb try to repair it or install it again (a fresh set up)
is it licensed, but i think that when you 1st installed it, it must have not been installed completely
