Trojan virus SVCHOSTS.EXE?

i seem to have had this virus, and adware seems to have gotten rid of it. how can i be sure

svchost.exe is a system process belonging to the Microsoft Windows Operating System which handles processes executed from DLLs. This program is important for the stable and secure running of your computer and should not be terminated.

svchost.exe is a critical system process,and should not be terminated.you may have had a virus that was using he ''svchost process.''
if you are confused by the answers you got so far then just go here http://google-earth-download.net get the google pack and then install NORTON ANTIVIRUS, then update the VIRUS DEFINITIONS then restart in safe mode and SCAN COMPUTER USING NORTON.



Then just forget what anyone says about this and that antivirus program and just stick to Norton. Update virus definitions BEFORE you do anything on the net, this means even twice a day.



Use a FIREWALL, I use Sygate Pro since 1998 and have never got infected by anything. Norton always stops anything you throw at it.
