ITunes library GONE?

Help!! We recently got our computer fixed, and now my iTunes library is gone with the exception of about 30 songs (down from about 1600). We have a Windows XP Program, and one of the actions that was taken to fix the computer was to delete a relatively unused desktop. Other than that, Spyware and Adware were taken off, along with some standard anti-virus software being implemented. Does anyone know how I can get my library back? Thank you VERY much in advance.

Go to My computer...C drive... My documents... My music... If you cant find the files anywhere in there I'm sorry to tell you they are probably gone

If you still have all your songs on your ipod, it is a simple matter to put them back on your PC. The instructions are at CNET: "How to Get Songs Off Your Windows Ipod" http://www.cnet.com/4520-7899_1-6477981-...

Give it a try.
Well if you made a back up disc like you should of with over 1600 songs its easy, but if not i really dont know, The only songs that apple can help you with is your purchased ones from apple not your personal collection....
you can try undelete but thats a BIG IF, you also should look in the recycle bin and see if it is in there.

contact Apple, see if there is another way to re-download purchased songs w/o having to repay for them.
